I've raced the 700R (stock and piped), piped 450R's, and yfz's in the sand. In the sand I had no problem pulling them bad, even with very bad starts,( my shee loops out like a mofo,) the wrong sand tires, and an enormous weight disadvantage, and the wrong pipes. I outweighed most of the riders by at least 70 pounds. The 450R's were the worst though, could not even come close ( in the sand anyway). The 700R was the best competition though, and with its new pipe, it was stomping the 450's.
