That had to hurt especially since it was a Polaris tank! I can't figured out if this douche bag was trying to jump the other quad or if he just wasn't looking ahead. Riding at a public place like the dunes without a helmet is stupid. You can't trust other people.
I have to admit that I sometimes rip down the road on my quad without a helmet, but I almost always wear one. I learned my lesson when I was about 4. I was riding my go cart around our neighbor's field and the grass was so high that I didnt' see one of those mushroom-looking sewage pipes that sticks out of the ground. I hit that thing wide open on the go cart and my face slammed into the steering wheel. I got a broken nose and a wakeup call all at the same time. |
