Oh, i forgot to add in here that i almost killed myself because of the water idea. I put my grips on and didn't let them dry before i went out for a little ride. I went sliding around a corner and the next thing i knew i was no longer holding on to the handle bars but just holding the handgrip and my quad had came to a abrupt stop. However after the water had dried out every thing stayed on nice and tight.
