I am still working on getting the jetting right though. The previous owner was in Dallas (near sea-level elevation) and I live in New Mexico at 7,000 feet elevation. It wants to bog and hesitate in the mid range very badly and drips oil out the exhaust. So, I swapped the 180 main jet for a 170 main. Then I switched the pilot jet from a #50 to a #38 and raised the clip one on the needle. It's much better now but still doesn't have a smooth bog-free powerband. It still feels a little rich in the midrange. Any suggestions from current owners of the GG300 would be greatly appreciated. |
