First you need to be able to read the clay of the track on race night.
Just sticking to one compound of tire wont get you to the front either.
Hoosier on the front & American Racer on the rear aint gona cut it, you cant get thoughs Hoosiers soft enough the match the rear

Some tracks need soft tires & some hard tires, you wont know what to use unless you can read the dirt.
You need to stagger the tires on oval tracks.
Measure the outside DIA of each tire, start with the left front, it needs to be the smallest tire then to the right front a little bigger, left rear a little bigger & right rear being the bigest tire on the quad, that will make it go around the corner.
Then adjust the swaybar to take the roll over out while going through the corner.
When those tires stick in the corner, maintain you speed & you can hold your line through the corner, that rider behind you cant pass you unless the straight is real long or they just have way more power than you.
