Las Vegas BEWARE ! Pressed for time, I needed my banshee diagnosed for a "no start" problem bofore the pres. weekend. Not knowing of a reputable repair shop in Las Vegas I figured a dealer would be maybe expensive, but honest. I took it to Las Vegas Motorsports, on Craig rd. They told me it needed a CDI and a stator, and it was going to cost over $700.00 in parts (plus $300.00 labor). Floored, I told them not to order the parts, I would find some aftermarket parts at a lower cost. When I dropped off the parts, they told me the Dynatech programmable ignition box I brought wouldn't work, and they had some bad luck in the past with the stator I gave them. They had ordered thier parts and couldn't return them because they are electrical and wanted me to buy thier parts instead of installing the parts I brought. After some pressure on my part, they reluctantly installed the parts I brought..... my quad runs better than ever. Those crooked people at Las Vegas Motorsports tried to convince me to but thier parts by lying to me. Thankfully, I saw through thier bullshit and didn't take it too hard in the pocketbook. I figured I would pass this on to anyone living in Las Vegas.... Don't go there... |
