well the first time it had a reason, i had just bought it and after it blew we found that the carb boot was cracked and it wore the rings so that they were soo thin that they busted. and the other times we dont know why it blew, what it was always do is bust one of the skirts off the piston. and the only motor work done to it was it had been bored .20 over.
