K & N filter question.

hey i was wondering what a k&n filter would cost for my tecate? i have one on ebay that im watching right now for only $10, is that a really good deal or what? and how much of an improvement should i expect to see? how much of a jetting change do you think this will make also? thanks everyone

my k&n is great noticed an all round power increase seemed to pull a fiar bit harder if u take off the air box lid like i have done yer u'll need to change the jetting cuz it will run lean otherwise i just went up a few on the mains and played witht he pilots

QUIT ASKING STUPID QUESTIONS you know what the answer is stink finger boy..if you do not delete this post I will laugh at you all the time from now on!!!ya know more air flow means bigger jet needs more fuel and the power doesn't pick up it just hits harder LOLI think ya might pick up 1-6 maybe even 8 hrspwr maybe on good day even I'am pretty sure ya might watch out for more sand and dirt issue as well water and mudd ya know

hahaha, thats funny ken......................more air more fuel, duhhhhhhhh.....................if you put a outer wear on it, it takes care of alot of that dirt and sand that would make it through the filter. And you have to clean the filter alot or it wil suck all the dirt in the engine.

well butt plug, i knew that it would let more air in and then i could get more gas for more power, i was just wondering how much more power and how much id have to change that jetting. but if i remember correctly that filter went for like $50, well it had the airbox with it too, but i think there are other k and n's on there brand new for less.....alright, you dont need to read anymore, you can go pork her again.
