| that was b4 my multiple quads days but yeah now i;d just toss the f*cker in the trailor and grab anothee one. but pickign pieces of piston outta the bottom end isn't fun at all. fresh top ends are best. plus they run awesomw if you keep em fresh and you hardly eer ave to bore the cyl. until it gets pretty out of spec. preventative maintenence guys. it pays in teh logn run |

| Go with the amsoil filter! Hey 370. When you redo the top end do you only put in a new piston? Or do you also give the cylinder a hone(sp?) too?

| Never just throw in a piston with out at least honeing. We'll Their might be a few occasions. but thats beside the point.I try to never go without checking for round and taper of the jug also.....

| Probably the best air filter that ive used was Twin Air. I love them and i loved having a sponsorship and getting free ones.

| im a k&n guy ,i love k&n s ,alot of people get concerned about sucking garbage in , ive seen it happen on a few bikes but never with a an outerware always use an outer ware and clean it off (real easy) each ride and youll have no problems and get some real air intake yes it may be only+ 1 horse difference but to me every horse counts.ive alaways run my machines with k&n even my chevy pickup. add in a new topend every season like 370 said and you cant go wrong and id always run atleast a hone through i t every time . it breaks ring glaze off the cylinder ,most shops will check and hone your bore for next to nothing if not free like mine.but kn gets a bad rap its all in machine maintenance guys
