Question look here k&n filter ?

do you guys use oil on your filters? i always have and it said to allways use oil but a well known builder in michigan said not to use oil on the its night and day perfornance differents. what do you all have to say?

id say if you dont oil your k&n you are a idiot as matter of fact you are a idiot if you dont oil any filter for a ATV or BIKEunless it is one of them new oilless filters

I oil after every ride now since it is starting to get warm and dirt is turning into dust. K&N does require more maintenance but there are very easy to maintain. Take the extra time to oil any filter.

Maybe... But I have never heard of not oiling a filter unless you dont have the right oil. Maybe your filter would last longer but it wont prevent any dirt from getting through.

yea ....oil a K&N they are made for it .....there is new cotton filters out now that dont need oil so they say ..really dont know but k&ns yuo gotta oil
