this is my air filter...

what is my plan of attack?

i plan on cleaning it with mineral spirits...i just have a question on what air filter oil to use...

GET some 409 spray or simple green spray it on then run it threw water and squeeze filter many times then let dry and get some k and n filter oil from a auto parts store and spray on after filter is dry then go ride

i use k&N oil on foam and k&n filters them selfs

so i can just use k & n air filter oil? is it special 2 stroke filter oil? or can i use that for 4 stroke grizzly air filter too?

All it does is filter the air, so make sure the foam is in good shape. Clean the filter so there is no dirt on either side (using 409 or maybe soapy water) then buy some air filter oil and thoroughly coat the filter so it goes all the way through it. I would not recommend K&N filter oil b/c it is designed for paper filters rather than foam filters. there is no difference between 2 stroke and 4 stroke filters

As long as it doesnt hurt the filter, any oil will do. Hell, I have used 80w gear oil ojn them before. As said before, brake cleaner works great. Especialy on that grimy outside layer after a hard weekend in the dust

i use to use uni it was the best stuff imo i tried this waterproof belray stuff hard to clean but its good in dirtbikes and sportquads becouse water wont go threw it.....
