YFZ450 A Arm Failure - Bad Accident

I know some guys are into modifying these A Arms onto the Banshee. So I thought I'd drop this thread in here as a good heads up.

Don't know the details or history of those A Arms but it's sad when Duner is down.
And a concern when the cause is a bike product!

my guess is he hit a jump a tad faster then he wanted to and the jump was a tad bigger then he thought..

the yfz has been made for how many years, 4 now and this is the first a-arm issue i've seen, im sure this wasn't the first time that quad was jumped and what would have to be a huge jump to fvck that guy like it did, so im sure the a-arms have taken a beating and eventually gave way. any1 remeber the z400 when it first came out the whole first year produstion had to be recalled cause of the frame would crack, stuff like this happens. imo i wouldn't be scared to use the yfz front on banshees or anything i just wouldn't go as carzy as this guy did, i mean stock parts can only take so much abuse.

I just try not to do any jumping at all personally. I just like trail riding and drag racing. not into showin off doin 4th gear wheelies across the field or hittin big jumps. lol I try an stay on the ground much as I can. I know what its like to get hurt and be out of commission cause shit has happened to me before.
