Default A Arm Widening Kit

i've seen on ebay a "kit" that add 6 inch wide on your quad . without changing a-arms or using spacers....i've seen that on a 400ex (i know i know) but this would look so damn good on my LT250R!!!

it's kinda like 2 metal plate... one in front of the skock (where the bolt goes) and one in back...so the shocks are bolted on the plates...adding 3 inch on each side

the same principal goes for the a-arms.....i think the kit sells for $60 but not sure.

do you know if a kit like that is available for quadracer????

that contraption would put added stress on whole frontend( bushings ,tie rod ends, and shock mounts ),the frame and tie rods were not meant for this type of added geometery . personnaly not trying to be a cock ,but ithink those brackets look like shit and make the bike look way to "busy " in the front end

you're probably right......i think it would be easier to bent the frame if you hit something full frontal.....not for wood riding.

spacers will work great if you dont do alot of jumping or really aggresive shit, a good set of a arms can be had for less than 5 bills .i personalyy wouldnt buy durablue axles but if you do buy dura blues get hd for 234$ @ rockey mountain . g force axles are cool looking, they have a lifetime warranty and have remedyied thier past problems with bends on high flying race machines they include castle nutz and are chrome ,if you bend it,send it back its fully covered ,inittially they had problems but that co. has made it all right and has improved theyre heat treat process to insure quality! ebay has spacers for cheap!!!!! im not totally sure on whicjh machines g force makes products for though!!

durablues axles are great.. the x33 is best.. but i'm nto sure if they make it for a LT

as for the G-force they aren't near the quality of durablues. plus i'm pretty sure they aren't made for the LT's

oh and contact wade (flattrack) about some arms.. i know he can beat your $1500 scare.. hell you can easily get arms and shocks for that price easily

That contraption looks skeery to me. Hell I bent my lower a-arms what the hell do you think I'd do to myself with that setup? I'd be in a full-body cast right now eatin through a straw. The idea behind it is interesting, but I don't think much thought went into implementing it. Like Chris said, talk to wade. He can definately hook you up.

that contraption is a good idea, but if you want to run it, your gonna spend a bunch of money anyway beefing up the frame and steering components to handle the stress. As for axle, durablue is decent if you ride a low class mx, or just field beat. I run a durablue and i guess its ok, but a person that rides hard will brake them like no other. If you going to invest in an axle, get that g-force (cuz of the gurantee) or a lonestar or RPM. A-arms are not expensive at all. You can buy new armadillo a-arms in rockmountain for under 400 buck i think, and shocks you can buy at 1 dir racing for around 500 bucks. The shocks are aluminum ribbed shock bodies with dual rate coil over zero preload springs. They don't come with resiviors so if you want to ride a TON of mx, then get TCS zero preloads for 750. I am buying 1 dir racing shocks cuz they sound really cool, and they will definately kick stock shocks a*s.
