| I just bought plus 2 forward 1 arms for my shee, what size shocks work best? I'm on a budget. |

| Its more in the valving and springs than the length....

| Yup, better to have yours rebuilt for the change. Cheaper too. When they're done they'll be almost as good as high-end shocks. |

| +2+1 doen't change the location of the shock mount so your shocks will be the same length unless you go with a Long Travel suspension wich does move the shock location. So basically you just need to revalve your shocks and you will be good. I have +2+1 on my banshee I still run stock shocks. Not great I bet aftermarket shocks would be better but not ready to put down the $700 for shock. I actually have 1 shock that is slightly bent from when I crashed.

| Well, my next deployment, I plan on picking up some longtravel arms with longer suspension, if you still have stock suspension by then i'll sell ya mine.

| I don't know what the stock Banshee spring rate is like... but if it's anything like the Blaster spring I don't know how anybody could justify spending the money to rebuild a stock shock (I didn't even realize you could rebuild stockers). Hopefully the Banshee's are better, because the Blaster's are alright for flat track and ice racing... but they are WAY too stiff for MX or even just trail riding.

| by the time you send your shocks in to get revalved and put new springs in due to the extra 2 inches of leverage, you'll be looking at about 75% of new for cost. you may as well sell what springs you are running with your stock a-arms and buy new. |

| I have the Works triple rate pro series front shocks w/adj.rezzys and ASR +2+1 a-arms. I'd probably look into getting new shocks. You can get a set of new works double rates without rezzies for $340 on ebay. I never thought the front shocks were rebuildable on a banshee, but if they are it'll cost you at least $140 to get that done. If you're looking at getting them rebuilt I'dtry phragle, especially if you want to save a few $$$ |
