I have an atc90 for my son it runs great on the level but when he tries to go up hill it dies ,as soon as it levels off it starts and runs fine any ideas .it is a 2 stroke???? thanks

i would check the clutch.. and float levels

if it has a battery ck. that , plug wire make shure it can't move around

I dont know about the old atc 90 but the old suzukis 50's had governors on them inside the carb, i think thats where it was, that would do the same thing. My little cousin had one. It would choke the fuel and die if it hit a strain like going up hill. You might pull the carb off and check to see if theres anything like that on one of those. If I remember right when my uncle took the governor off it was just like a washer type thing that made the diameter of the air fuel mix going into the motor smaller.
