I have been looking at various engines for a couple of years, seems like the Cat engines have been dominant. Does anyone build a big displacement Rotax that would go 260-300hp?

talked to Northern Crank and Blackcat Racing, ended up with a billet crank and Blackcat bottom end with Price Cylinders and heads, Jaws pipes, 50mm Lectrons and MSD ignition. 1385cc and dyno'd at 318 corrected, 328 uncorrected. Should be in a bike by Christmas.

i ain't all to sure if this was already said.... but from what me and my dad hear down to D&D (a BIG name in sledding if ya dont know) arctic cat may skip puttin a GSXR 1000 motor and instead, put in a haybusa (spelling??) motor. thats a 1300, and a 4-stroke, but it will probably fly by the RX-1 of yamaha....

and i want to add, we own a zr800 with twin pipes, reeds and some other little this, and it will beat a mach Z in a mile run ANYDAY!! i know this cause our sledding buddy has one, and i have watched them race (my dad was on the 800) but im just saying... so people shouldnt be thinkin the MACH Z is invincible (once more spelling?)

Yeah maybe you can beat it but your sled wont outlast it wait till your going 100mph and you lose a main bearing, the clutch or a skirt on the shit stock arctic cat pistons. Ive seen all 3 happen on the ZRs they are a poorly designed sled that was hurried through r&d and production to compete with the other manufacturers at the time.
