ohh and with that machz....they must have that thing very corked up if it can only get into the 140's. for a 1000 to not get any higher is pretty sad.

Well arctic cats thundercat 1000 was a hell of alot slower than the mach z. I raced 2 of them on my 2001 mach z tech plus that i had and beat them by quite a bit and they have 200ccs more. Those things are absoultely pathetic, they always will be and if they werent why wasnt there so much hype about them when they came out? The 1000cc mach z has had tons of media and it IS the most powerful production snowmobile ever made which is a fact. So dont talk about ski-doos being corked up.

You have to understand not many races are going to end with you going over 140 mph. So if you think about it Ski-doo dialed it it pretty good with the gearing and clutch since it was the fastest sled off the line hands down. I remember at the Radar runs the only thing that beat the MachZ was a Turbo RX-1.

hey all im saying is even if they do get off the line fastest with 175hp(earlier in thread) and 1000cc it must be corked up if it can only get 140.

the mach z's are ok.. but htye just plain old aint dialed in
the cluthcing is about three miles off...

and 140MPH is an AUFUL lot
a 600 plain old wont do that

I obviously have seen a thundercat because I worked on a guys at least 3 times a year till he got smart and bought something else. Those thundercats are not as fast as the mach z I had and all that i did to mine was dial in the clutches and carbs and everything.

The artic cat is not as fast as the new MachZ's sorry to say stock artic cats 1000's are very slow stock. However they have the most potential when it comes to drag racing It is like the banshee of snowmobiling.

I have a lead on one for $1000 which will be sweet because we are going to drag the hell out of it. Hopefully we will get it. Want to put a big bore stocked motor in it and then through the nitrous on it. God that will be fun

Smokin'gun u r totaly full of shit! Your Mach z would never do 140mph with " slight dailing in". I'm sure u can gear the sled up to go that fast, but theres no way it will make enough power to pull it! My dads thundercat was dyno'd at 202hp and there is no way in hell it will run over 120mph! You can think what u want to but i'm tellin u that ur wrong!
