Default '88 Wild Cat

I am new to this forum. I was into snowmobiling about 20 yrs ago, sold everything, now my son has got me back in. I picked up an '88 Artic Cat Wild Cat very cheap. I would apprciate any info on this sled from people who have owned or ridden one. What was the rated H.P. & weight? How were they for trail & mountain (Climing) ridding? I live in Idaho. I am spending the summer doing a complete rebuild on it.(Got to do something while waiting for snow)

Thanks in advance

Gasholic

Welcome back to the sport. I really don't know much about the Artic Cats but would love to own a ThunderCat. I'm a Ski-Doo Guy. I'll look around and see what I can dig up for you though.

For how old the thundercat is it is still one of the fastest sleds out there. With a little work your looking at over 170hp. It ain't goint to touch my dad's new MachZ 1000 but still it is very powerfull

oh yeah no dought about the power, i had a 700XCR that would eat em up all day long though(man do i miss that sled). but what would be nice is a PSI Genises 1800cc moter (350hp & 215ft. lbs. of torque) bet that would be fun in a 'shee frame
