Heres a pic of the sled i'm thinking of buying. The guy wants $3500 (canadian). He says theres 1700 miles it pretty mint. Tell me what you guys think its worth and if theres anything to watchout for on these sleds. THanks
Besides being an artic cat I guess it is as good as it can be. Just kidding. Looks in good shape just remeber miles mean nothing it is a quick adjustment to stop the odometer. Make sure everything is good like the track slides, track wheels, Carbide runners, Check to make sure everything looks nice and greased up.
You can't just think it is good because of what someone tells you. You really have to check everything out and pick it apart. Some of the things I mentioned above wouldn't be that bad allown but if all of those things needed work then your talking good money.
As a former 'Cat owner, that is a good buy for such a low mileage sled. The 700 will haul you around very quickly. Watch out for wear marks around the plugs and make sure the fuel lines are good which they should be with these low miles. Look at the track also for tread depth. Good luck, I loved my Arctic Cat Jag 440 when I owned it, it was the AFS model and was cool to own as a kid.
Next to the Ski-Doo Revs, Arctic Cats are my favorite sleds. They have some great engines in those things. The Suzuki powered F7 Firecat, for example, is one of the fastest sleds out there and it's only a 700.
