I've noticed there are a lot of cheap sno pro 440s for sale. Are they good sleds or are they junk. I'm looking for a cheap (under $2000) snowmobile that is fast and able to jump well. Is a sno pro the way to go?
well the sno-pro sleds are some of the best you can get, that is what is used for the sno-cross races. so they can jump, take off and keep speed very very well

92% of teens have switched to rap music if you are part of the other 8% put this in your sig.
speed doesnt kill, its usally hitting something and suddenly becomming stationary that does it
well from what i saw the 440 sno-pro sleds could kick alot of ass with these bigger ones. but im betting that they are really high mantinance machines just because of how it modded the motors seem. but i dont know the total specs on these, iv just seen them race and listened to them and watched some people work on them a lil at the races

the snopro is a good sled, if you dont plan on racing it buy one thats trail converted, the 04 has 104 hp, they are stock motors, no mods, unless it says there are mods to it, top speed is around 85 mph, there not made for top speed, but they have really good low end power which you need for racing, all that can be changed simply by getting different gears, clutching etc.
