Hey I have a new KX100 and my dad was wondering if a 250 motor could be fit into it. Is it possible? My questions are: Would it be cost effective? Would there be alot of maintenance? Could the frame handle the stress?

OR would it just be better to get a 250 bike later?

get the 250 later. the fram wasn't designed for the extra vibration or weight of the heavier motor

Service Honda put a CR500 motor into a CR125 frame, so why not?. If you already have the 250 motor laying around, I say go for it, otherwise just sell the 100 and get a 250.

ur better off jus puttin a 125 in it a 250 is gonna need 2 radiators and tha kx100 only has one and tha gas tank dosent have relief for tha 2nd radiator on tha flywheel side

Definetly get a 250 later, the 125 frame and suspension wont handle the extra load.
