This wasn't just the good years of Dirt Wheels, it was the good years of ATVing. It's just like cars were better in the good old days in a lot of ways. They were made of steal and weren't 4 cylinder plastic Civics.

And I got to live it! YeeHaw! Oh wait, I'm still living it! I still have about 100 of the old 3+4 Wheel Action and Dirt Wheels and other mags. One of my favorite write-ups is the DW story on 7 desert/dune racing Banshees.

Cutlass Supreme,,,,,,same thing but cheaper to pick up. Every part you can reasonable think of swaps with the chevelle. BUT,,,, that 396 beefed up won't touch a bone-stock '70 350R block.
