| I run BMX grips and I just clean the bars well, spray the bars and inside the grips with brake cleaner and slide them on. THe brake cleaner dries in about 2-3 minutes and you're ready to go. (This only works for non-knurled bars) Safety wire is always a good idea though and works very well. |

| can someone post a pic of a good safety wire job. I dont see how you keep the wire from cutting you. My grips have notches for it so I just figured I would use it even though they dont move. By the way, we usually use gas ![]() |

| your not crazy. My newest (to me) toy came with renthal grips put on with grip glue. I love it. |

| i just use WD-40 to get them off and then i clean the WD-40 off the bars and spray inside of the new grips with contact cleaner and slide them on, then let it evaporate and ride! OR if i can get my hands on some hairspray, i use that in place of contact cleaner, it dries kind of sticky so it mildly glues them on. |
