On the bigger jumps, how do you compare the yfz shocks to the shee's stockers? softer landings? do the fronts have compression adjustments? Thanks

On big air the yfz shocks are better hands down. Around the rest of the track the are evry stiff though. They are fully ajustable ( compression, preload and rebound) but even with the preload and compression on the softest setting they are still stiff for anything other than big air just because with stock a-arms you have to compress the shocks about an inch and a half to get them to fit. They are deffinately better than stockers though, I bottomed those things out every jump I did.

Put up a picture of your shee DDQ. I wan't to look at the shocks and how you cut your fenders. Are you going to sell the yfz shocks? If so how much. I might buy them since they have already been moddified to fit a shee. Did you grind on the shocks or the a-arms?

atvfreestylekid:I also run The yfz's up front and DDQ explaned how they run with stock arms to the "T" they soak up the big jump alot better than the stockers but are a little ruff on the bumpy stuff even on the lowest settings but thats no biggie. Im also planning on going with a +2+1 a-arm setup so im hopeing that will make it also nicer ride ...mabey a revalve and spring if everything goes good.
Get some if you are contemplating them, there a great bang for your buck as in my case.

You will have to grind on the upper shock mount, lower shock mount and on the bottom of the shock eyelet. I promissed the shocks to a local guy but if he doesnt want them Ill offer them to you. My fenders were cut when I bought the banshee. Im gona include a pic of the front og my shee, but for a good step by step tutorial on doing the yfz installation go to bansheehq.com and click on forums, go to "suspension" and click on the sticky link at the top of the forum.

Edit- SAVAGE beat me to the link. Follow that and you shouldn't have any problems.

thats what i wanna hear! non of this...... aawwww im gonna get a 450r next because there so much easier to ride. BULLSHIT how the hell is it a real race when all you can hear is a loud farting noise! i wanna see blue smoke and fried clutches non of this eco-logical economical crap. Nothings better than seeing the few boys out there on the shee's spraying the 4 pokers with rocks the size of TV sets!

Don't let the 2strokes die in the quad racing scene fellas! go sign up with your local club..... who knows you could end up as big a unit as DDQ is!!!
