wrong... the northstar is a good motor, but not in a grandmas car. i have a superior GM engine to your northstar, the mighty LS1 in my 01 z28 camaro...

well now, if its a race you want. i ride with a bunch of guys that own shees, 250r's yfz's, 450r's, we could arrange a race or two. a cupple of the shees are perdy stock, pipes, and filters on the stock bore with stock cast pistons. mine is a dune ported 350 with stock carbs and reeds with a set of fmf fattys. we ride coos bay, wincester, florece, and sand lake qite a bit. tuning is key to make a banshee rip. without the correct combination of parts they lack hidden potential. also one must know how to ride one. its not a big bore 4 stroke with a linear torque curve, gear selection, air pressure, and weight distrabution are key elements to running a hill on a shee. rider ability has a big play in who pulls out ahead as well. case in point, my shee is decently fast..... when i ride it, now most anyone else that i let run a hill on it either makes it fall on its face out of the hole or lifts the front end and backs out of it. i have $350 into my port job, noting wild, and very reliable. next time you make a dune trip let me know.
