I understand the word huge, no need to be a smart ass. Sometimes a little grammer refinement goes a long way. I understood the words not the direction.
Here's some porting specs, huge. See how much easier the 's and , make it to understand. And they are really not that huge in comparison to what some builders do for a true drag setup, but being huge isnt the only way to skin the cat.

Not the directions of the port, the direction of your comment. Sometimes what you see as clear is not to others from the outside looking in. Its not a speeling and grammer school, but sometimes some simple grammer helps a ton. I didnt see the motor, but he told me what Jim said the durations were and thats how I know. 200 EX is large no doubt, but not up there with some of them. Doesnt really matter that gets into a lot of theories where several have proven to work and what not. I personally think its a waste of time to get that involved with the stock cylinders anymore. The cubs are much more efficient with a lot less labor involved. In my opinion the stock cylinders are a out of date for anything other than a trail bike.

i can say that jim drag motor are more than 200 cause mine was that. i dont know the port spec or really dont care too. its not my stuff.

as far as the grammer. 370 asked for specs, i replyed back with huge. not very precise but most could get my drift.

i agree the cubs are mean but i personnal wouldnt have one for say flat tracking. unless it was a big track. if short the cubs dont have the grunt like a set of stockers could if setup right.

for dragging i would get a cub also, new technology and more effecient like you said.

to each their own

From what I have heard cubs come with around 196-198 EX as casted, which is more efficient than larger numbers on stock cylinders. I suppose for what most people consider a duner they would work great with a set of CPI inframes, Shearers are going to lose a bit more of that lower RPM power. Seems like the large power numbers out of the cubs are coming from slightly raised EX and cleaned up intake and trans with a lot of tuning.

i'm not worried about 90rwhp.... i'm just looking for something more than i have right now... thats gonna make good dune power.... and i can do it pretty quick and real easy... this is the way i look at it... if i buy the cubs with just the cleanup port and toss them on with some 34-35mm carbs and a set of pipes be it CPI, shearers. or my dynoport mid-tops it outta run real fuckign good... then if i want more later on i can have the cubs ported...
