| i see youri point denny but at the same tiem there are comanies like walmart... which needs very much to be unionised.. if you ever get a chance watch the video called "walmart the high cost of a low price" it tels in thsi movie all about how walmart claims to be "employee oriented" butin fact they have horrible health care tahts ungodly expensive just to force thier employees onto government susidised health care. in fact it estimates in thsi movie that walmart employees and thier famile cost the government over 1.5 billion a year in health care.. thats OUR money... and the walmart corp. encourages thier people to use these program that we all pay for... they claim to employy more full time people than any other company in the world.. guess what they consider 28 hours full time... walmart is in fact the single biggest and worst company to work for... they lock cleanup people in stores over night, make people work overtime and dont; pay them for it... the list goes on and on... and they show their people videos of non union propaganda... these are the things that unions help against... i will say some unions are a fucking joke... and your right the UAW in alot of instances is a fucked up but.... toyota and nissan workers are UAW workers also...

| I heard there's Wal-Marts in China now.......Everything says "Made In USA"...haha.......Wal-Marts a fucking monopoly.......wonder why everything's so cheap in there?.......Look at where it's made.......They've taken countless Mom and Pop businesses right into the shitter.........And the Big 3 gave their workers (and UAW) an option: Take a pay cut, or lose your job.......UAW said go fuck yourselves, and thousands were laid off ( a nice way of saying Fired, but officially "laid-off" so they can draw unemployment) or bought out by the thousands........

| back i n the day after world war2 era the american public basiclly boycotted alot of asian goods and this is when foreign goods were an odd sight on the shelves and rare .well Japan got the clever idea of renaming one of its cities to usa pronounced (you-saw) and labeled their goods" made in usa" and us americans bought them not knowing any better for like 20 years . i also read where at one time the government wanted to put an end to the GM corporation because they had way tooo much political power and controlled over 48% of the american economic market ,it was said those ceo's at that time had more political power and global clout than most leading countrys did . what a difference a few years and greed can make ....we do it to oursleves, we want availability and the rock bottom cheapest prices with no concern where its made or we wont buy the products or shop there .we sell ourselves and our children out .yo ucan move a japanese company into america to save on tarrifs/taxes ..but the bottom line is the bulk of the profits go right back home to the main branch to fuel the japanese economy .i was told that new toyota factories in america donot pay any of there employees healthcare coverage

| just the other day me and my brothers finished swapping out engines in a 99 jeep grand cherokee. it was my cousins and the motor was knocking pretty bad. he found another motor pretty cheap that just had 90,000 miles, but it had fire damage. it took us two days (about 12 -13 hours) to pull the original engine, swap out the intake and fuel rails and wireing harness to the other motor, and put it back in. it wasnt as bad as we first thought it was gonna be when we first opened the hood, all that electrical shit. but it was really pretty fun and simple I guess. only missed one plug in when we got finished and it wouldnt start, but we found it pretty easy. rolled that puppy out and took it down the road for a test drive. and I tell yea, its got some pep in its step. its a 4.7 with overhead cams. to me it felt alot stronger than a chevy 350 thats for sure. that jeep would move when you floored it.
