Default Skat Trak customer support BLOWS!

Skat Trak customer support BLOWS!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As many of you have seen, I have a pair of 10-paddle Skat Trak Haulers on my Raptor. They only have about 5 or 6 outtings on them, and the paddles on the right tire have begun to crack and then fall off! I'm down to 4 paddles on that side. The left tire is 100% OK.

So, I took the tire to SkatTrak today. Their response: what do you want us to do about it? They said simply that they won't stand behind the tires. They offered to re-paddle the tire for $98 PER TIRE! The tires only cost about $110 each to begin with!

They chalked this up to normal wear - despite the fact that 6 paddles have busted off of one tire, and the other tire is perfectly fine. Their answer to that - I must turn to the left more than I turn to the right - putting too much weight on the right paddle.

Well, I'll be ordering a new pair of paddles for the Raptor - and they ABSOLUTELY WILL NOT BE SKAT-TRAKS.

You've been warned.

ive heard that from some of the guys i drag race with. they advertise about building custom tires and then act a little annoyed when you call them up to ask about some. ive had nothing but good luck with my haulers, raced three seasons on them and barely any wear at all.
