 Bad eBay Seller "2STROKEGUY"
Heres the story:
Found an 86 LT250R engine on ebay, shouldnt have known right from the start this guy was an idiot.
In the description, he said "needs rebuild, tranny shifts like butter".
First of all, what does shifts like butter supposed to mean, slips like butter or shifts smoothly like butter. I asked him and he said he meant it shifted great.
So I bid on it, and one, and actually got it for a hell of a deal, $105 + $120 shipping.
I paid him via paypal withing3 days on JAN 16. Emailed him that I would like a tracking number.
I knew it would take longer becasue he lives in New Brunswick.
Two weeks later, after no communication, I email him. He says he has been having problems with his paypal, and as soon as he gets the money he will ship it.
No problem I replied.
One week later, emailed him, asking for status, no reply
Another week later, same thing.
Finally, another week later, he replies and says he had been in a snowmobile accident, and in the hospital for two weeks. And said "It will be their soon enough" .Under the assumuption this was true, I said no problem, just ship it soon and give me the tracking number. By now it was Feb 16.
This was the last I heard from him. Even after 4 emails, 2 messages through paypal.
I put in a dispute, and eventually a claim through paypal. They also recieved no response.
Long story, but I got my money back from paypal. ON MARCH 18!!!!!
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS CANADIAN GUY, HIS NAME ON EBAY IS "2strokeguy".
Hmm, I wonder if he visits this site....
