like i sad... id be back to bash them after they screwed me.. here i am
they only wana warranty one rear tire...because only one has soft spots all over the sidewall.. so i did everything they wanted. took them a yamaha dealership that sells itp's , had the mechanic in back get on the phone for me, with itp, tell them they are shit and somethin is wrong with them,, they said they will send ONE new rear tire to yamaha, and they are not to give it to me, unless i give them the bad one and they "dispose" of it... like im secretly plotting to keep the tire with bubbles all over the sidewall and ride with it.. yea.. so the shit tires have a good amount of ware on them, even though only 8 or so rides, heh says "well those are 8 of YOUR rides.. we dont know what you do".... $85 a tire, 6 ply, gncc purpose tires.....huh?, only been riddin on about 8 times, but looks 2 years old easily, not my fault their tires dont hold up for shit.. so he says to me, if the tire is worn enough to notice a difference between the traction of the old one and the new one.. then "maybe ill just take back that tire we warrantied for you because your lyin about how old they are..."... the whole time talking to me like a total asshole, jerk off sarcastic little bitch, same guy i dealt with the first time a week or so ago..same little attitude and smart ass tone. so i asked if there was anyone working there in service that knew how to talk to people like a human being? he started laughing out loud at me... like laughing into the phone..says im lucky i even got 1 tire replaced and that he might change his mind about replacing it..i said any idiot who rides a 4 wheeler knows what happens when one tire has alot more tread than the other... he says "yea i rides quads trust me i know.. we replace 1 tire at a time all the time"... i asked why... he said "well what do u think... you get a flat you need to replace it!"... i heard enough at that point.. i knew i was getting nothing out of them ... i asked if he ever heard of tire plugs, told him he could pick up a kit at walmart real cheap and asked him if he is a moron as well? i asked very nicely though, hahaha he started laughing and hung up on me.. while laughing out loud...
needless to say i will not be buying any ITP's anymore, and i hope others take this into consideration when considering buying itp's.... dont expect them to stand behing their warrenty when you get a defective set... "SET" keyword.. you buy tires in 2's, not 1... apparently they have been having ALOT of problems with tires out of round, and soft spots in their new tires, the old guy at the yamaha dealership was talking to me while i was waitin, saying he got a shipment of itps in last week, and hes puttin them together in sets, and hes got a couple pairs where one tire is about an inch or so taller than the other.. but they are same size, everything.. so they have been dealing with the same shit... i got mine from rocky mountain.. so im gona call rocky mountain tomorrow and see if they will do anything about it since i spend thousand(s) of dollars with them every year...between me and my friends on my account we get alot of shit...if they wont, i wont hold it against them ... i just cant believe the way this guy was talkin to me ont he phone, same jerkoff everytime, total asshole, worst experience with a customer service ever in my life, ive never seen anyhting like it

ill take a pic of the big egg size tumor on the side
wow man that blows i would call them back and immediatly ask for the VP of human resources or some one with customer relations who doesnt have a small dick and an attitude! then contact the better biz burea... i will definately stay away from there shit... i have the maxxis razors 6 ply and i love em
I can actually agree and see the "replacing one tire" thing instead of two if only one tire had the soft spots why should they replace the other tire you have used but the way they acted about it is screwed up...

You can always talk to someone higher district or national you shouldn't have to deal with someone like that. Sounds like a cocky shit family member of the ITP ownership got himself a desk job and thinks he can get away with talking like that.
Anyways I can see see their point with wanting the defective tire to pull apart or w/e to see what was wrong it's always been that way with defective tires. Maybe the softening compound in the tire was off and it was a bad mixture in the mold or something caustic hit the tire I could see a liquid landing on the tire that would leave an egg shaped patch because of the concave on the tire and how liquid spreads but I don't know never saw the tire.
If I worked for ITP I would have sent you two new rears in exchange of the old 2 and told you what was wrong after they were taken apart. Sucks to hear you had such a hard time at least a tire didn't blow in 6th every cloud has a silver lining.

because now , in order to have a functioning set of tires, that doesnt run me off into the trees everytime i hit the gas... i have to go buy another brand new tire. which rmatv now sells for $89 a tire!!!! + shipping....... there is still plenty of tread to ride them for the rest of the season..they arnt THAT bad..a set of rear tires should hold up 2 seasons for me..razr2's have no problem makin it 2 seasons and then some. just because one of their tires was defective, and not the other.. i shoudlnt have to take $100 out of my pocket to fix the situation.. the company with MILLIONS of dollars selling the defective product should fix it...when you pay TOP DOLLAR for items, they should be up to par with the prices they charge... shit like this should not happen, that is the point, the fact they see nothign wrong with it, thats the problem, and i had to fight for 2 weeks, driving 20 miles to yamaha each way just to get ONE tire out of them. zach45 who used to be a member here... him and his friend had the same problems with some of their tires.... they got new SETS, keyword SETS (2) new rear tires sent, no hassle...and they didnt have to send trheir old ones back... they replaced alot of rear SETS like that...now they have replaced so many, they have a whole system setup tpo deal with it... the guy at yamaaha was explainig to me... and hes just as pissed as me, because they spend big money on multiple sets at a time and are getting bad ones too... its not just money, its time and hassle 8 ball.. youll understand oneday after you fork out $320 for a set of tires and get screwed.
