Default Bad Ebay Seller

Some guy named craigorio1 ripped me off on ebay a couple days ago. I bid on a $24.99 stator for a machine of mine, won it, paid the $3 listed as "packageing and handleing" fee on his auction. Nothing else was said about shipping. Well after I commit to buying the stator, it takes me to his site where I pay the rest of the way. Then a couple hours later I get an email from him saying that I need to send him more money to pay for shipping. I told him no way, Im not paying for something that wasnt labeled or mentioned on ebay. He told me it was a glitch in ebay for that auction, but I checked some of his other things and they are the same way. He did refund my money a day later after I told him what a stupid way to run a business, but what a waste of time all together.

damn i'd be glad he refunded my money,,, u paid the boxing and handleing fee he had. It cost him money to sell it even tho it aint much so he actually was a reputable seller and refunded your money. when i dont see a shipping charge i always ask i found i dont get in that situation. so ripped off you absoloutly were not. and as far as the glitch yes e-gay has been having problems and i also had problems with my listings not showing shipping charges. i also bought a starter for my buddy's warrior from this guy he has great prices and fast shipping but i asked about shipping charges before won.

He may have not gotten ripped off, but the guy is still shady. You don't list a price, accept the money, and then ask for more. The guy should have just eaten the rest of the shipping and sent the part to MotoXRyne. That would have still made the guy money and MotoXRyne would still be one of his customers. You can't run a small business like that.

I wasnt mad until he started acting like a child. He got all up tight when I suggested adding a clear shipping charge on his auctions. Also, I think saying "packaging and handling" is a sly way of just getting more money. It also makes it sound like that is the shipping charge. Who asks for money to pay for a cheap cardboard box you probably recieved from ebay from some other guy, I know Ive never dealt with anyone who does.

It's stupid of him to do that, but you're lucky you got a full refund.

Shipping and handling on small crap is BS.. It's getting payed to put something in a box and tape it..

Now if he had to crate a quad, or something big, than the shipping and handling charge is acceptible.
