| its fouling the plugs about every hour.....like oil black shit on it ...im runnin 32:1 yamaha 2R oil....im switching to iridum plug see if that helps out the fouling .....it runs good lottsa berries dont liek to idle for more then 15 seconds thought |

| It's not the plug that needs replacements its the jetting that needs adjusting.. It's hard for me to reccomend or suggest. It's rich for sure, start jetting down till you get there, keep checking those plugs.

| Nice posts guys...I agree, a properly tuned and jetted bike will NEVER foul a plug. And buying different, worthless more expensive plugs will not fix the problem, they will only band aid it. What are ALL of your mods? |

| yea the guy i was talkin to said it would help out (band aid liek u said)......it stock as fare as i know ...im the second owner of this banshee...i just picked it up about 6 weeks ago...its got a K&N and fresh top end but like i said i dont know if anything internale is done or not ...so i will just scew with the jet still i getem right thanxs for ur help guys

| madill the two links i posted should help alot. have you cleaned the air filter? id do that also when it gets colder you have to jet up so if your runnig a 230 now then youd need to go to 240 and try that. so i think theres someting were missing. read this http://www.dfn.com/benkaren/jetfaq.html it explains about the circuits and stuff Last edited by 2strokesmoke; 12-11-2007 at 12:51 AM. |
