how big is too big? im currently building a +4 with 66mm pistons which is about 400cc's. the cylinders are stock with finger ports in the intake and triple exhaust ports and shearer inframe sb pipes. i have 34mm mikuni's on my 370 now would 38's be too big for the new motor? i plan on mostly drag racing any thoughts? thanks

38s will work but the bottom end will suffer compared to 35mm s

that setup with those pipes will like big carbs and high ignition timing .....35's would be best but im sure the 38's would still be nice for you just less lowend and response as gassrx pointed out,sounds liek a killer setup get some pics up

i was kinda hoping that the +4 will help the low end a bit. i plan on running lots of port timing. im around 200* on the exhaust with my 370 and it still pulls the 17/41. i was thinking about picking up a set of 38mm lectrons but i havent convinced myself that they arent too big. lol

for alky they are the shit ..but for race gas id look for dual keihin 38m mairstrykers if it was me
