rebuild question Please

Ok, trying to replace the rubber plug in the bottom of the jugs and the clymers manual calls for some stuff called Gasgacinch sealer. My local auto parts store does not have this specific brand and i wondered has anyone used any other sealer with good results. If so what.

rubber plug? .......the gasket im assuming?......be better off just buying the right gasket sealer sucks....hope this is what you were talking about if not sorry

Its a rubber coolant plug.

thats what i did. per the clymers it said to use gasgacinch. i was simply asking for a substitute for the gasgcinch.

I just used a small dab off black rtv to hold it in place, they'll be fine, not going anywhere!
