| Mods DMC Alien pipes and silencers boyesen rad valve boost bottle.........yeah I know, it was already on the bike when bought pro design coolhead with 20cc domes k&n filter inside stock airbox with the pods in the lid and snorkel removed stock carbs current jetting is 310 main, needle in the middle, 30 pilots 500 ft above sea level muggy ass St. Louis weather Any recommendations or should I stick with what I got? | Still running the full airbox and holes in the lid? I think that's what you meant by "pods" in the lid. Go back to a stock pilot, 280 mains.

| Yes it has the full airbox with those little filters in the lid. The jetting was like this when I got it and the bike has no ass on the bottom. I figured the pilot was the problem.

| Well...unlike J Lo...it's not gonna have a lot of ass on the bottom. But I think once you clean it up down there, it'll be better than it is now.

| I'd say like 280-290 mains. Aliens aren't really the best low end pipe out there, so no matter how good the jetting is these pipes will be better off toward the mid/top power

| someone needs to write a letter to DMC and tell them to stop recommending such huge pilots and mains! dont they recommend like a 340 main and 30 pilot? |

| With the lid on they reccomend 280 main 30 pilots. No lid is 320 mains 30 pilots. I dont see too much of a big effect of running 30 pilots rather than stock and it only depends on like 1/8 throttle which I am sure no one rides that slow.

| Well I know there isn't going to be any ass on the bottom but the bike was struggling to get to the powerband. When I pulled the carbs apart the pilots were half clogged so I think I know what was causing it. I plan on ditching the lid and just putting an outerwear on the filter or just getting the individual filters for the carbs because with the rad valve there isn't a whole lot of room to get the carbs out.
