depends on how far over you go... generally on a iron sleeve anything over 2 millimeters larger than stock will create problems and over heating is often one of them .what machine are you referring to?

you most likely have a nickle plated liner unless its a really old model.you will not be boring it unless yo u want to pay another 200$ for plateing and you would lose alot of transfer area and it would probably run hotter,not even sure if you could do that anyways ... you would do more harm than good ...you want porting not a big bore .

i've seen on ebay,they are selling inter change able cylinder walls,is that true,you can change em like a diesel?and wut do you mean porting?wut is that?oh and its an 1984,but when i took the head off,i could move the piston side to side,a little to much if you ask me,its got a new wiseco piston,and it wasnt me who put in in,
