| because 4 mm cranks are easy to obtain at a reasonable price... go with a 7 or 10mm and your looking at about a grand for a crank... plus alot more machining costs...

| i dunno i saw a vitos 4mm crank that had 5mm rods on it for sale on ebay, already welded/trued too, thinking about getting it, im just wanting to find out the cc of that set up i was talking about

| the milled head and 115mm rods do nothing for your displacement your probably looking at around 390cc's if i rememebr correctly my 65mm bore 58mm stroke came out to 384cc

| increasing the bore and /or the stroke is the only way your going to increase your displacement ... the rod could be 20 feet long and it wouldnt change your cc's

| So in conlusion the 72mm bore on a +4mil is the largest = 472cc but thats in a DM or Supercub. Outside of those two you cant go as far as 72mm? |

| if your goal is going to go that big in displacement ..you might as well acheive it by adding more stroke and i thin kyoud get better results and less headache , like going for a 10mill cub ,just my opinion
