try running a 14 front sprocket. Has your gearing been changed before? 13/40 is stock gearing. I ran mine with a 14/40 for a good bit and it did fine. actually accerated great and still had alot of top speed. You could just bump the rear up to a 41 or 42.

just wondering, whats the smallest rear sprocket that you can get for a blaster, or a banshee too cause dont they use the same size sprocket hub? I know I can get as small as a 36 tooth for my honda.

i beleive the smallest rear sprocket you can put on the rear is a 39, i think i read somewhere you'd have machine the sprocket hub to fit the 38.

i have a 67mm bore and i run 14/40 which does me good and actually it accelerats fine but i weigh 140lb........but if i were to get the 240 kit id step it up to a 15 in the front of a 39 in the back but 15 in the front is a bit to big in size and my 14 tooth sprocket already looks like its about to hit the swingarm so id just get a 39 tooth in the back with a 14 in the front...

yea the smaller you go in the back the more top speed you get, and larger the more acceleration. in the front the bigger the sprocket the higher the top speed.

I heard of some people that get aftermarket round house style swingarms and that lets em use honda sprockets and brake rotors. theres two advantages to this, you get more rear sprocket size choices and the brake rotor size is smaller so you get more ground clearance.

The only prb with a 15 thooth front sprocket is if you break your chain you will crack your case point blank. Thats why I dont run one. I might have to but I dont want to. I have a 6mil 240 with 14/40 gearing I weigh 180lb I am just running out of 5th(I have a 2-5 override) right at 300ft.
