carb help!!!

hi guys first post here anyway lets get right to it. Im working on a blaster carb and the bike has a fmf pipe and silencer.
I cant get it to start unless I choke it.
so its not getting enoug fuel its got a 230 main I think it needs to be around 260 per fmfracing.com

I feel stupid asking but I dont know the answer so I have to ask is the pilot jet the one in the "bowl" of the carb and has a needle that is attached to the float? if not what is that?

Im third groove from the top on the needle.

elevation is 630 ft.

the only info Ive got is from fmfracing.

that is the float needle it controls how much fuel comes into the carb.the poilet is the brass jet with a slot in the top for a straight screw driver

the jet you need to change is the one in the bottom of the float bowl-it is a hex jet-1/4 or 6mm

thanks for the help fb02 and lt250 that cleared up alot of my confusion. so I ordered several jets 240-270 so I think im covered Ill update you guys
