would a dirty or rusty flywheel make this damn thing not start? see post about getting frusrtated.

rusty flywheel would definatly make it not start. My friends rusted up and was hard to start or would not start at all.

I don't totally agree. Most flywheels will accumulate rust due to moisture. Did you actually check it for spark? I'd start from there first.

Ive seen alot of running machines with a rusty flywheel in my day. lol and its not a long on. How much power to you having going to the coil?

LIke I said first, check for spark, then go from there. It's a possibility that you may have a bad pick-up coil.

it could also be your stator thats rusted. have you being riding in water? like my blaster's stator got all rusted up because i rode in water but just take it apart and sand the plate and clean the magnets.

I know rust effects the stator more than the flywheel. Just sand blast the flywheel. Easy fix. Your bike may be sparking, but not strong enough. And like he said, just sand the stator with some fine sand paper.
