| I would go with the V Force 3 reeds. You said in the other post that you are running the stock jet with the Toomey exhaust? If so I think your to lean. I agree it does run rich with the 310 jet. I have a 290 in mine with the Toomey and I still am a little to rich. I believe the stock jet is a 220 or a 230 depending on the year.

| you cant put on an after market exhaust and not re-jet your carb, thats a no-no, once u jet it once you will realize how easy it is. you need to rejet for winter/summer too, temperature change means alot, cold air= way more dense than hot air, bigger jets in winter, smaller in summer, what do u mean by yuour reeds being broken? was the petal cracked or sometin or was the cage like BROKEN? |

| triple post FTW, but ya vforce reeds are a great improvement over stock, and reeds break all the time not really uncommon i mean they open and close thousands of times persecond so eventually their gonna wear out, now if the reed cage itself broke well then you have a major problem. |

| the reeds close thousands of times a sec, they fatigue and break
