| oh yes i forgot to mention that the compression is fine and that it will not start after it dies. if you let it set for a few hours it will start back up and run the same way.

| does it have spark? maybe the cdi box is going bad

| It could be the reeds or you could have sheared the flywheel key. Usually if a reed petal breaks it won't run at all. I would pull the flywheel off and check the key.

| check fuel flow. maybe have some trash in the tank and pluged the petcock. my wifes 4poke had stuff in the tank and very little fuel was getting through the petcock, check spark and the key like said before. clean the carb and air filter. my blaster got trash through the screan in the tank and pluged the main jet. luckly i was playing with jetting so i see it before any damage was done, i had only one plug chop on it and the plug was still white.

| buy a spark tester. put it on the bike then ride it. or attempt to. when it dire see if it has spark.

| hey i had the exact same problem when i got my blaster it would start fine and when i tryed to rev it up it would sound like it had a rev limiter on it long storey short REEDS the reeds on it were just beat to shit new reeds and it went fine |
