blaster banshee axle swap?

iv got a 2000 blaster..... and i duno what the hell the last guy who had it did to it.... but i have disc brakes all the way around, by trenga racing.... and the set up looks stock, or cleanly done....... can a 2005 banshee axle go on a 200 blaster? from what i understand, the pre 03 blasters have drum brakes witch do no mesh with the banshee axle.... but since i already have disc brakes, will it work?

i got the calipers out last night and measured what was exposed of the spleenes on the blaster axle, then compared it to the axle that came off my shee.... they are the same size plus or minus 2 thousandths....... will the hubs fit on that axle as well? are the bearing surfaces the same size? thanks...

I know a trick is to use an 03 or newer blaster axle on a banshee for a lighter, shorter axle for drag racing.

So...since the banshee axle design has never changed stock, I don't see any reason why you can't retrofit a banshee axle to a blaster. I'm assuming you'll need the carrier as well as any brake hardware.

Maybe one of our Blaster gurus can help!! I think flotek knows a thing or two about them...maybe he'll chime in...

ok then.... i know that its gota be 03 or newer, but im not exactly sure why???.... i happen to have a spare banshee axle laying round, and i measured it... it will add 1 5/8" to each side of the rear wheels on the blaster if i can make it fit....... "nice little free mod if it works out"...

from what I've heard, the banshee axle should slide right in.

thank you sir! thats what i was hoping to hear... i will proly do it sunday or next weekend! i will let u fellas know if a blaster axle below 2003 will swap with a banshee.... after i try it for myself.......

I just used the whole banshee rear end, carrier, etc.It let me mount up the banshee caliper and just had to fab a few brackets for the master cylinder and reservoir.Oh and extend the pedal.
