Talking Banshee steering stem on a blaster? possible?

ok guys..... i have been looking for a +2 steering stem for the blasty. and they are freakin expensive! then i got to lookin at the banshee.... the od are the same. but the overall length of the banshee steering stem is 2 1/2" longer then the blaster... will the banshee steering stem fit on the blaster? anybody ever try this? know if it works? any complications? modifications?

I bought one to try and see if it will fit.It does not fit on the blaster.However if you machine the bottom down(right above the threads) you can make it work.But it will not bolt straight up.I am going to a machine shop this week to have them machine mine down for me.

interesting? im not sure what you mean? what exactly doesnt fit? could i do the trick with a pencil grinder? or a big grinder? how much meat needs to come off? and where? do you have to leave the threads or cut them off?.

Nvr mind! i see exactly what you mean! haha./... no way a pencil grinder will do the trick! haha..... im curius! would it be possible to drill the hole on the frame bigger to except the stem? and use some sort of a washer or spacer, in order to tighen it up?

I will let you know.I was thinking the same thing about drilling it bigger but figured I just had it pc'd and it looked to nice to drill.lol I also believe those are some type of bushings on the frame you might be able to remove.IDK Keep me posted on your progress also.Thanks man
