Exclamation No Spark in my Blaster

Hey guys, first post; i need help with my 99 blaster.
On sunday, i took it to a 36 mile poker run, and it sucked in a little water/mud, but then ran fine after i opened it up down a main road. Well yesterday, i decided to ride it to my girlfriends house, ran perfectly fine to there, and before i left, i was showing off a little for her little brother. On my way back home, made it about 1/4 mile, and my bike started to bog out on the low end, and i had to keep it held WOT to even keep it moving, and it died out, 2 miles from my house. After pushing it home, tore it apart, and it isn't getting any spark... looking for some suggestions as to what it may be; how to check it? Thanks would appreciate it alot guys.

-Andy

I would start by putting a new plug in it. i would also clean the air filter. after that i would check to see if the flywheel key is broken then i would clean off the coils. maybe the plug is only fouled. sit the plug on the cylinder and kick it over. may need to turn the light out. but u should see a spark. i say put a new plug in

I Tried another plug, it wasn't new, but it was the cleanest one i could find, and it was gapped correctly. still no spark. Tried pulling out the plug, and putting it in the coil, and setting on cylinder and kicking it, still no spark. Cleaned the filter, and took off the carb, was a tiny bit of dirt in the tube from the airbox to carb, but none got past the carb. going to clean up the carb a bit, and put that all back together.. but other than that.. i'm clueless.

Also, noticed on the plug i took out, there was no gap in the sparkplug, it was just smashed against the little pin on the end of it..

OHHH thats bad. this has happened to me before and the piston had broke. that plug loogs really bad there is alot of dirt and gunk on it. u need a NEW plug for sure. you are lucky if there was only some preignition that did that. but i think something was bouncing around in that cylinder to cause that

Yeah, i'm assuming it was something more than pre-ignition to tear that puppy up like that too... So i'll try to get a new plug for it tomorrow afternoon, and keep you informed, Thanks Alot, NELSON

ANYtime .... i bet u have to end up pulling that cylinder and getting new piston. you should never have that much crap all the way down the plug into the head. take better care of it , it will last longer. keep me up dated!

Theres a few more pictures. Cleaned up around the Intake after i took those pictures, just so happened to be awesome little particles of dust/rocks. And NELSON, as far as if i'd have to put in a new piston/rings/wristpin bearing, how is that going to help me as far as getting spark goes? i figured i'd have to replace the Piston soon enough anyhow, it's still on the stock bore, as far as i know from '99.

Still no spark/even as much as a pop or a slight urge to start.
