Default 240 vitos OR Flotek 12 port port job?

I do some drag racing a little and do mostly trail riding.Between the two which one will give me the most power? You can get the 240 on flebay for 500$ or for what i want done to the stock jug will run 280 for the porting and 40 for the head milling then 30 for some gaskets then 30 or so for some rings for the piston. Then there is the shipping maybe another 30 for a grand total of 410.I will be keeping the stock crank. So whats going to be the better option? Thanks

for you i think your best option is probably the bigger bore vito kit thats ported ,you can get strong power but really got to wind out the 12 port design on a stock stroke ot get them to move and the 240 kit will provide the extra torque down low for leasurly riders on a stoc k stroke crank ,the biggets problem with the kit other than the crappy untouched portlayout is the power piston that fails way to early

So you say vitos .Why because of the stock crank?Im new to all of this so what does the 3mm+ crank add?low end?So with the stock crank and the new 12 port layout from you ,i would loose alot of lowend? So is it very hard to put a crank in?oh well

well the 240 kit is only going to out perform the ported stock cylinder if you have it ported. If you leave it with the shitty vito's port layout it wont run much faster than stock.

So now i dont know what my next step should be then. The 240 says that it should be 32hp just with the 240.Is that not correct?Well whats up with the 240 sleeve job?Is that a better deal to do that then get the stock jug ported?Well from what im understanding is that you should do the 3mm crank first .So why do i see alot of people just doing the 240 and seem to be just happy with it.I dont want to go out and spend money on something thats not going to perform better.Too many options...

i have the stroker and the 240 and i was racing my friend with just the 3mm yesterday and i just barely beat him, without porting the 240 isnt much better, but once its ported it'll be awesome

I just finished putting in the 3mil crank and the 240 cylinder. Playing with the jetting. Stock pipe and carb (with the vitos pin). Had to go back the the factory pilot jet, and am down to the 320 main jet. Still running rich.

At this point I do not see much increase in power.

thats because you have a stock pipe and carb, that thing cant push enough air through there
