| hahah... dang... those things are crap.... take em off.... buy a K&N... dont get a boost bottle, they dont work.... . . hey! has anybody heard of these "power now" valve? i have heard them called a few other things also? they go on a blaster, on the intake manifold, and they have a rutter looking thing that dirrects the air..... they charge like 90 bucks for these things...... im guesing they dont add any power like it says, but who would pay 90 bucks for something that was worthless? i can see people beeing tricked by the boost bottle, cause for 20 bucks its worth a shot, maybe it will work? lol..... but 90 dollars is a long shot for something that dont work.... anybody seen them? i will post a link..... |

| In theory boost bottles work but in actual life scenarios they dont do shit. I've had plenty of people agrue with me and say that they have made another 2 or 3 hp on the dyno with a boost bottle but I still dont buy into it

| i think ive read more people saying they are BS then actually work (the power now valves) but then ive read a few posts saying something about how when the slide is only open like 1/2 throttle or below that the fin helps direct the mixture with more velocity ? dont quote me but i remeber seeing a few people say they actually do help at lower rpms by basically mimicking a smaller bore carb for more velocity and low end? (not those ones specifically, i think they were multi finned?) im sure someone will correct me if im wrong, i havnt heard of anyone using them, but i remeber some builder on here or bansheehq that sold ones with multiiple fins,, anyone know what im talking about? |
