Default crank bearings

Do you have to get new ones if you install the vitos crank and why ?Thanks

Yes. I just put a Vitos 3mm stroker in last week. If You are unsure of the bearings I would replace them. You have the cases apart I'm assuming so You can get Your new crank in The Right half crank bearing Part # is 93306-30556 and the Left crank bearing is 93306-20562. I replaced all the bearings, oil seals and gaskets. Cheap insurance compared to rebuilding the motor. I live near Fredericksburg, Virginia where are You located?

No i havent tried it yet.I have a 2006 model and it doesnt have alot of run time on it.Couldnt i just use the ones that are in there now if i tried this?I think im just going to get the vitos 240 kit.I just dont know about trying to split the case.

NO, you don't, the trick is getting the old ones off the crank without wrecking it!!!
but they are cheap insurance, they are loose in them selves, they come into tolerance as they heat up, so if the bearing feels SMOOTH! it's ok, if it's not it should be replaced.
