Default Air Box Removal Question

I HATE air boxes!!! They are a pain in the rear to clean sand out of. Does someone make a pod or something for the blaster?

I'm sure K&N or Uni make a clamp on pod that will fit a Blaster.

Yeah you can get the pod filters...just don't go riding through a lot of water. You'll drowned it out pretty quick.

No water. I run pods on my shee but the carbs point straight back. Blaster seems angle to the side more. Air boxes are good for muddy and wet conditions, But I don't ride there. Sand just collects in there and it's a bitch to keep clean

I know FTZ makes some angled pod filters. I'm sure K&N does too...might check their websites.

I NEVER had an issue with sand collecting in my air box!? but when I installed the 34mm carb I cut out the air box and put a K&N pod filter on it, but the one I have is to big to go onto a stock carb, but I'm sure they make one that'll fit, it needs to be angled 15* IIRC?
Mine is a "RU-1720"

yes, they do. I do not run rear plastics/airbox at all on my blaster all I have is a single K&N pod filter and outerware filter on my carb. altogether when I got it I paid like $50 for both..

Uni makes that angled pod! I even thought about getting two of those for the banshee and angle them upward towards the seat!
