Default NO Compression With The Kicker

Hey I finally decided to bring out the Blaster 1 month. The last time I rode it it was great and had no problems. Now I pull it out and no one touched it since and I went to kick start it and my foot went straight to the peg. I got off and I was able to push it down with my pinky. obliviously that is a problem my dad took it apart and said it was not the rings so well I had that problem before got new rings and it was fixed but apparently it is something else. Does anyone know of anything else that would cause this to my blaster?

Is the engine turning as you kick it?

it is the kicker itself. pull off the clutch cover and there is a spring and gears on the kicker shaft. odds are the gears arent correct. or your spring has popped out of the hole in the case.

i think the return spring also pushes the gear that turns the engine

so it could possibly be the spring or the gears? because my dad took it apart and looked at it not me but I guess ill have to then

Edit wait Nelson I know what you mean it the part where it kicks down not the part where it comes back or anything like that I already got a new kicker for that problem its just the part where it kickers down at starts the blaster and there arent any springs for that it is a gear that the kicker attaches to for the problem and those gears are not worn down at all. so it is something inside the quad

yes most likely it is in the kicker. there is a little tit sticking off the back of the spring.there is only one way to put in back in the case correctly. or maybe it is just worn out? have you tried to push start? just a question if ur dying to ride!

when you kick the bike . something forces the gear to push back and interact with the other gears. than when it gets started that gear pops back out. for some reason that gear isnt properly working.
